ABOUT FLIGHT TRAINING
Unlock Your Capabilities
MT Helicopter Solutions provides flight & ground training under part 61, ( with future plans of submitting for part 141).
What does this mean? Under Part 61, it is a pay- as-you-train at YOUR own pace.
With the ability of open enrollment you can sign up at any time and train as much as your schedule allows. Whether you want to hit it hard and train everyday or can only train once or twice a month, our instructors are here to fill your needs and availability.
Though we do train under part 61 we still follow a strict TCO (Training Course Outline) and course syllabus, developed using the building blocks of learning so that you get the absolute most out of your training and your dollar. With dedicated, comfortable and distraction free ground training rooms you will receive all your instruction one-on-one.
We currently fly and operate Robinson R44 RII aircraft, which is the worlds number one sold and operated aircraft for flight instruction and tour operations. You will be hard pressed to find a better rate on an R44 RII than what we offer.
Our instructors are not just your typical “Pilot Factory” instructors. We have real world experience flying commercial OPS as well, which we incorporate into our training to give you real world experience, far beyond just the basics to get you by. Everything from ENG, Powerline Patrol, Aerial Photography, tour flying, and Ag Work, we want to make you the safest and most aware pilot we can. Because we know that YOU will one day be the future of this industry.
Your Private Pilot Certificate lets you fly helicopters for fun and recreation—giving rides to friends and family, or flying for your own transport. It’s the first step toward building the skills needed for your Commercial Pilot Certificate.
You will be in the cockpit from day one, getting hands-on experience.
Whether you’re considering a career change or simply looking to improve your skills, our Commercial Pilot Certificate offers everything you need and more.
If you want to get paid to fly, you need your Commercial Pilot Certificate. This course expands on private pilot training and introduces more advanced maneuvers and skills. This training course teaches you to fly to higher and more precise standards to prepare you for your first commercial job.
Your first career step is likely to be working as a flight instructor. The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Rating is required if you want to instruct other pilots. This rating also makes you much more marketable when in search of your first job. Allowing you to not only fly commercially doing tours etc., but also allows you to instruct and teach others. Most flight school/Tour Operators incorporate both in their business.
